Wherever you live on the planet,
With WCC you can go anywhere.
To work and learn with other young adults from everywhere.
For a year that will change the arc of your life.
This will be the WCC opportunity:
- You live anywhere in the world and are between the ages of 23 and 26.
You spend one year abroad in another region of the world.
You work in a multinational team of 25 adults.
You assist a local organization (public, private, NGO) that has a successful track record of carrying out climate solutions to do more of their work even more successfully—and perhaps take up innovations your team proposes.
- You will likely focus on community engagement in many different forms—marketing, social media, sales, data collection, energy audits, volunteer management—although other opportunities may well be available.
You receive additional training weekly and begin to really learn the critical skill of the 21st century: global collaboration.
You return home ready to be a Climate-Community Leader for the rest of your life.
You remain friends and colleagues with those 25 team-members (and likely many other WCC alums) and you collaborate with them for the rest of your life. (And who knows, you might even marry one of them!).
Testimonials

Sara Martinez-Cañavate Benitez
As a climate change and sustainability professional I have benefitted greatly from my international experiences, with EarthCorps being a highlight. It was an inspirational and life-changing road having the opportunity as a young adult to experience such intense hands-on work, interaction with local and international communities, and development of team and self-leadership.

Juan Pablo Ruiz
I worked in Oakland, California, for a respected nonprofit with three other young Fellows from Lebanon, India and South Africa, and our full team did Master’s-level study in leadership development with a local university. What would the world look like if every person starting their career had such an opportunity.
